Originally from Drayton, North Dakota, Dr. Wambach received his Biology major from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota. He received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. Dr. Wambach completed his internship and residency for general surgery at the University of North Dakota Affiliated Hospitals – Department of Surgery in Grand Forks. Before joining the Fergus Falls Medical Group, P.A., Dr. Wambach practiced with the Dakota Clinic in Fargo. Dr. Wambach is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wambach and his wife, Angie have two children. His interests include hunting, fly-fishing, and time with family.
