Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Dr. Pettit attended Bemidji State University, received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota and completed his residency at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Pettit was a Staff Obstetrician and Chief of Surgical Services at the U.S. Air Force in Grand Forks. Before joining the Fergus Falls Medical Group, Dr. Pettit was in group practice at the Itasca Clinic in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Dr. Pettit is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Pettit and his wife, Mary have two children.
