He earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Dr. Norgard is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Norgard is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Norgard and his wife, Pauline have four children. He enjoys waterskiing, snowskiing, golf, biking, and family time.
