Originally from Wilmette, Illinois, Dr. Lindholm graduated from Bryn Mawr College, George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Services in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Lindholm is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is a past President of the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians. She has been a Board Trustee of the Minnesota Medical Association since 2002. She currently is on the board of Midwest Medical Insurance Company, Minnesota Community Measurement, and the Healthy Minnesota Steering Committee. She has served on the AAFP Commission on Governmental Advocacy since 1997. Dr. Lindholm and her husband, John have three children. She enjoys gardening, sewing, and music.
