Dr. Hendel interned at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon, was a medical staff officer at the Camp Pendelton California Naval Hospital, and completed his residency in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Hendel is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Hendel and his wife, Donna have two adult children. He enjoys skiing, biking, and canoeing.
