Our History

 

The Fergus Falls Medical Group is the result of a merger between the Fergus Falls Clinic and the Park Region Medical Center in 1967.

The Fergus Falls Clinic was founded in 1902 and the Park Region Medical Center in 1939. The merger of these two groups and their combined dedication to quality medical care, has resulted in a large multi-specialty group today with physician specialists, mid-level providers, and medically trained professionals available to provide comprehensive up-to-date medical care.

 

In 1970, the Medical Group moved into their present building which offers direct access to Lake Region Healthcare Corporation.

 

With the addition of Clinics in Ashby, Battle Lake, at the WestRidge Mall, and most recently the addtion of the Wheaton Community Health Center, Valley Clinic at Browns Valley and the Herman Clinic, services have expanded to make quality health care more convenient for our out-of-town patients.

 

The Medical Group has a long history of providing quality care to its patients and that is our commitment for the future.
