Originally from Fergus Falls, Dr. Mathison graduated from Concordia College and the University of Colorado Medical School, interned and completed his Orthopedic residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, California and was a member of the teaching staff at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for two years. Dr. Mathison is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Mathison and his wife, Ann have four children. He enjoys hunting, skiing, and woodworking.
