Originally from Hungary, Dr. Joo graduated cum laude from the Semmelweis University of Medicine, Budapest, Hungary with a Doctor of Medicine Degree. Dr. Joo completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan, New York. He also received training in Nephrology at the Columbia Presbyterian University- St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Joo is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. Dr. Joo is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine - Nephrology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Joo and his wife, Jacqueline have two children. His interests include photography, reading, and gardening.
