Dr. Gloria Tong joined the Fergus Falls Medical Group in January 2008. Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Tong received a B.A. in English Literature at Soochow University in Taipei. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Biology, and minor in Chemistry at the University of Utah. Dr. Tong received her medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She did her internship in Internal Medicine, Emergency Psychiatry and Neurology at the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics. Her psychiatric residency was at the Universityr of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Tong recently completed her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Tong is board certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is board eligible in geriatric psychiatry, a subspeciality of psychiatry. She is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialities, American Psychiatric Association, and American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Tong is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Her personal interests include traveling, Chinese calligraphy, aerobics, and hiking.
