Dr. David Tomb joined the Fergus Falls Medical Group in January 2008. Born in Pittsburg, PA, Dr. Tomb received his physics/math degree from the College of Wooster, Wooster, OH. He obtained his Ph.D. in oceanography from the University of Virginia. Dr. Tomb received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. His internship and residency in psychiatry were done at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Tomb obtained his fellowship in child psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Before joining the Fergus Falls Medical Group Dr. Tomb was a professor of psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He has also written approximately one dozen books. Dr. Tomb is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Tomb's interests include reading, hiking, computers, mathematics, writing, and travel.
